1.  Is the EquiPage system the same as other halter foaling alarms?

No, our superior  design incorporates additional features and enhancements that others do not:

- Full time Internal standby battery in case of power failure.

- Pocket pager low battery notification.

- User programmable pocket pager.   The pocket pager receiver is matched to the unique signal of the repeater.  If you require an additional or replacement pocket pager for an EquiPage system, we will send you one immediately, and you can program it to match your repeater's signal in just a few minutes.  Some other brands require you to wait while an additional or replacement pager is manufactured to match the repeater signal.

- Our transmitters are the smallest, lightest weight of any on the market.  Mares that are used to wearing a halter (including miniatures) do not realize that they have the transmitter on.

- Our transmitters are mounted higher up the underside of the mares head where they do not cause false alarms by getting  hung up on water buckets, feeders, etc.

2.  What are the operating distances of your systems?

The mare must be within up to 300 feet of the EquiPage repeater, or the EquiFone receiver/dialer.  The EquiPage repeater will transmit up to 1 - 2 miles to the pocket pager, depending on terrain and obstacles.

3.  How many mares can be monitored simultaneously?

As many as required. There is no limit.  Each individual mare must wear a transmitter.

4.  Will EquiPage and EquiFone work on any size horse, including miniatures?

Yes, our systems are used throughout the world on all types of horses, miniature to draft.  Our transmitters were developed with the miniature horse in mind.  Hundreds of miniature horses foal each year with our foaling alarms.

5.  Are you associated with any of the other foaling alarms?

No, and we have never been associated with any other foaling alarm company.   Our products were designed and developed as an improvement over other foaling alarms, and to exclude what we saw as deficiencies in those systems.  See About Us
